Drip Irrigation in a Granule
Natural water-retention technology for more resilient agriculture
EF Polymer retains water and nutrients around the root zone, helping crops withstand drought and irrigation stress.
Agriculture Faces Increasing Water Stress
Changing weather patterns, rising irrigation costs and increasing pressure on water resources are making efficient water management more important than ever.
Growers need practical solutions that help maintain crop performance while using water more effectively.
Whether producing vegetables, potatoes, onions or field crops, improving water and nutrient efficiency is becoming a key part of sustainable agriculture.
Introducing EF Polymer
Drip Irrigation in a Granule
EF Polymer is a naturally derived superabsorbent polymer produced from upcycled fruit residues.
Once incorporated into the soil, it absorbs water and nutrients and gradually releases them back into the root zone when the plant requires them.
By creating a reservoir of moisture around the roots, EF Polymer helps crops withstand dry periods and improve the efficiency of irrigation and fertiliser programmes.
How EF Polymer Works
A natural reservoir of water and nutrients around the roots
Absorbs
Captures water and nutrients during rainfall or irrigation
Stores
Retains moisture around the root zone for later use
Releases
Supplies water and nutrients when the plant needs them
Degrades Naturally
Naturally biodegrades with no harmful residues in soil
Why Growers Choose EF Polymer
Water Efficiency
Improves soil moisture retention and irrigation efficiency
Improved Establishment
Supports young plants during critical growth stages
Nutrient Efficiency
Helps retain nutrients and reduce losses

Suitable for a Wide Range of Crops
Supporting efficient water management across vegetables, field crops, vineyards and orchards
Tomatoes
Supports moisture availability during flowering and fruit development, helping crops cope with irrigation stress and variable weather conditions.
Salad Crops
Helps maintain more consistent soil moisture, supporting crop quality and reducing the effects of short periods of water stress in salads and leafy crops.
Potatoes
Supports tuber development by providing a reserve of moisture around the roots, helping maintain crop performance during periods of limited water availability.
Onions
Helps maintain uniform moisture conditions during bulb formation and development, supporting crop quality and efficient water use.
Field Crops
Improves water efficiency in cereals, maize and industrial crops by retaining moisture and nutrients around the root zone during dry periods.
Orchards & Vinyards
Suitable for olives, citrus, grapes and other perennial crops. Creates a reservoir of water and nutrients around the root zone, helping trees withstand drought and irrigation stress.
